Shaq is building and renting in Newark

Shaq is giving back, kind of. If you didn’t know, Shaquille O’Neal is originally from Newark, New Jersey. Shaq is giving back in a way, by building a beautiful 22 story building, worth 80 million dollars with an amazing view of New York City. Inside will be 168 units ranging from $1800 – $2700 a month and $150 a month for the parking garage.

Apartments offer panoramic views of the Manhattan skyline or of Newark’s downtown. The roof will have cabanas, TVs, grills and, of course, an uninterrupted view across the river to New York City.

The first floor will house office space and one retailer, Boraie said. There will be a gym, a library and a large dining room for residents to use.
