Queen Latifah and Shaq RISE to the Occasion
Shaq tower is happening thanks to Shaquille O’Neal, Queen Latifah, and Boraie Development LLC. It will be the largest residential building in Newark with 32 stories, 3070 apartments and 74 of them will be affordable housing. Shaw and Latifah are Newark natives.
Queen Latifah’s RISE and Shaq’s Tower 2 projects also took steps forward this week in the city, the latter of which is expected to create approximately 500 construction and 50 permanent jobs.
