Newark is paying residents to help city clear snow
The city of Newark is now paying its residents, who own plows, to help clear the city’s streets of snow. We’re proud to see the city supporting its community in this way.
“The operation has turned into more of a snow-removal effort rather than plowing, Newark Mayor Ras Baraka told council members on Wednesday. The city is looking to carry snow away to designated areas before Friday to avoid flooding.”
