We’re a little biased with the area and choices we like since we rent properties in Newark. But you should look and see what you would pick.
RWJBarnabas Health and Pennrose will have a six-story building that will include one to three-bedroom apartments. The building is close to NJTransit buses, medical offices, a library, schools, and restaurants.
This definitely makes renting in NYC easier. Maybe we’ll see this trend make its way to New Jersey too.
A lot of recent and past movies have been filmed in Newark. With the city being such an easy commute to New York City as well, Newark makes for the perfect place to reside for filmmakers.
As of 2018, 62% of the middle-class rent their homes. That number is on the rise. A decade ago, most renters were low-income singles. Today the typical renter is a college-educated family with kids.
